I make about fifty lesson videos a year. GrabIt is how my own reference material, my own back catalogue, and openly licensed media get into Final Cut without a browser full of sketchy converter sites.

What am I allowed to capture?
Content you own, content you have permission to use, and openly licensed media. The full policy is on our acceptable use page. You are responsible for having the rights.
Why isn't this on the App Store?
Tools like this need system access the App Store does not allow. We sell it directly, signed and notarized by Apple.
Does it update itself?
Yes, built-in updates. You will never hunt for a new DMG.
