Remote sessions without surrendering the masters.

Baithak combines a live conversation room with local high-quality recording, role-based invitations, scripts, cues and recovery for lessons, podcasts and musical performances.

What it does

A live collaboration room that records high-quality camera and audio masters locally for dependable post-production.

Local-first masters.

Each contributor records their own camera and 48 kHz audio locally, avoiding the quality ceiling of the call connection.

Built for directed sessions.

Waiting rooms, secure roles, scripts, teleprompter text, lower thirds, chat, Q&A and media cues stay in one studio.

Recovery is part of recording.

Interrupted local takes remain recoverable and uploads can resume instead of forcing the session to start again.

Founder note

Baithak is on the Labs shelf so musicians, teachers and technical testers can try the real workflow while physical-device, long-session and hosted-storage gates are still being completed.

Known issues

  • The friendly baithak.nathanielschool.com domain is waiting for a valid Render TLS certificate; the Labs build uses its working Render address meanwhile.
  • Physical iPhone/iPad recovery, long drift, durable hosted storage, LiveKit egress and YouTube Live remain beta gates.

FAQ

Is Baithak ready for paid production work?

Not yet. This is a Labs build for trusted testing; important physical-device, storage, LiveKit egress and endurance gates remain explicit.

Does it depend on call quality for the final recording?

The room uses live networking for conversation, while each contributor can retain a higher-quality local recording for upload and post-production.
